Draw cross sections from terrain model
  • Terrain information / Draw cross-section from terrain model
  • Cross-sections containing sub surface layers can be drawn with choice
  • No extrapolation activated for subsurface layers.
Estonian version: Implement Estonian Terrain Long-section configuration
  • Template for generating longitudinal profile from the terrain model is added to the Estonian configuration.
Finnish version: Draw longitudinal profile from terrain model
  • More templates are added for drawing the longitudinal profiles from terrain model.

Novapoint Tools - Coordinate tools
  • Z-value stored and no longer return back to 0 when function close.
Norwegian version: Support import/export of SOSI 4.0
  • Novapoint now supports import and export of SOSI 4.0 data. The feature code bank ins expanded with a new register for SOSI 4.0. The import function will convert the objects in SOSI 4.0 to feature codes given by Statens kartverk.
Refine drawing – New function
  • New function in Novapoint Base: Refine drawing
  • This is a function to control and improve accuracy of elements in the drawings. The following methods are available: Delete duplicates, Erase short objects, Break crossing objects, Dissolve pseudo nodes, Erase dangling objects, Simplify objects and Zero length objects. For a complete description of the function please see www.novapoint.com under News and Release notes 16.30. You will find the description under Base and Refine drawing.
Scale
  • Values displayed in the scale dialog will now be used for all elements that use scale set up values even if the Cancel button is selected. Hatch scale is not stored in AutoCAD. Values for Hatch scale will therefore be set even if Cancel button is pressed.
Swedish version: Import of GDS files in DTM
  • It is now possible to import “GSD-Höjddata, ASCII standardformat” to the terrain model. GSD-Höjddata: ASCII, tabellformat – can be imported as a xyz file.
Terrain model – grid model - LAS-format
  • The previous version of the LAS-format interpreter read classification-codes 2 and 11 only. We have now applied a classification-code filter. The analysis function will display which classification-codes are inside the file. By using the filter, one can now select and control which classification-codes to use when generating the grid-files (by default, all classification-codes are turned on). The classification-code list is according to LAS version 1.1.
UK version: Terrain model – Import of Genio format
  • All Genio codes in starting with 'P' or 'L' will now be stored as points.
