Shortcut Menus
- Several functions can be activated through different shortcut menus in the Graphic area.
- The shortcut menu options get changed (enabled/disabled) depending on the mode of the function (View or Edit mode).
- The menu choice is dependent on the situation it is activated from/under.
When Object is not selected;
Activate the shortcut menu without any selection.
- Object search (Ctrl + F): Search the database for object with given record number By typing in a specific (valid) record number the function will locate and zoom in on the object.
- Adjust frame to display: This menu options adjust the frame to the display area.
- Create Line: Creates Lines in the database.
- Database:
- Statistics: Activates the dialog box 'Database Info'.
- Maintenance: Activates the dialog box 'Database Maintenance'.
- Purging: Activates the dialog box 'Database Purging'.
- Transformation: Activates the dialog box 'Database Transformation'.
- Distance: Measures distance between two selected points.
- Zoom and Pan Options: Window, frame, previous, all, in, out, and Pan.
When Object is selected;
Select the object and activate the shortcut menu.
- Delete: Deletes the active object.
- Selection: The Feature Code and Description of the Object selected will be displayed.
- Create Alignment: This is a quick way to create a alignment (horizontal and vertical geometry) of any selected line (object) in the terrain model.
- Object report: Data of all the objects in the terrain model can be obtained in XML format using this function.
- Reverse points in the line: The function will reverse the direction of the selected object.
- Export to File: The selected Object will be exported to file.
- Point Information: The coordinates (North, East and Z) of the selected object will be listed and can be edited
- Properties: The Feature Code, Group number, and Object description of the selected object will be displayed and can be edited.
When Grip is selected and view/edit mode is 'Edit';
Select the object, then select a grip and activate the shortcut menu.
- Move Point: Moves the selected point to desired location.
- Move Object: Moves the selected object to desired location. The point selected will be the base point.
- Cancel Grip Edit: Cancel the Editing.
- Delete Point: The selected point will be deleted.
- Insert Point: New point will be inserted with same coordinates as that of the selected point. The new points coordinates must either be modified in the list or physically moved in the drawing area.
- Object Geometry: The coordinates (North, East and Z) of the selected object will be listed and can be edited.
- Breakline in selected point: Splits the selected object into two separate entities at the point selected.
When the frame is selected;
Select the frame and activate the shortcut menu.
- Adjust frame to display: This menu options adjust the frame to the display area.
- Adjust frame to grid: * Show clipping: Use this option to verify that the selection and clipping is done correctly. The objects inside the frame will be highlighted with red color on all objects. For further details, refer 'Frame'.
- Quantity Calculations: The function will calculate the content inside the 'Frame' and present the result in the dialog box 'Quantity Calculation'.
