Command prompt:
vnnp_noiseplinejoin
Select objects: shows up
When the selection is done, all line type objects in the selection with coinciding start/end-points as any other line type object, will be joined together with this.
If e.g. a centerline is split into several parts, you can select all of these and get them joined together in one operation.
Or you could freeze all layers but the one with the wanted objects and run the function by selecting all. Then all lines consisting of several parts will be joined. You could also use Quick select to create a preselection before running the command.
There are similar functions within some AutoCAD versions as well.
There are no plans to further extend the functionality of this function, but it will soon be put into the noise menu.
Example of use with Quick select:
Menu: Tools > Quick Select…
Dialog box: Apply to: Entire Drawing (Default)
Dialog box: Object type: Multiple (Default)
Dialog box: Properties: Layer
Dialog box: Operator: = Equals (Default)
Dialog box: Value: K–DI–5001
Dialog box: How to apply: Include in new selection set (Default)
Dialog box: Append to current selection set: Off (Default)
Dialog box: Press <OK>
Command prompt:

All lines on the layer K–DI–5001 (default layer for buildings with roof height) will now be joined together to closed building polygons if possible.
