Compress terrain model

During operations with the terrain model, it grows in size. The command “Compress terrain model” should be used regularly to clean up unnecessary space.

Specifically after big operations, like inserting a triangle model, “Compress terrain model” should be used.

To reduce calculation time during noise calculations, always run “Compress terrain model” before starting calculations.

If there are many passive/unused groups or feature codes in the model, one should also consider:

• creating a copy of the terrain model
• deleting all passive elements in this copy
• compressing the copy
• running the calculations against this copy
