Hard Ground Regions
All hard ground regions of significance must be defined in Novapoint Noise. The regions (areas) must be entered as closed polygons. Road surfaces are automatically recognized as hard ground regions, and do not need to be defined.
The entered polygons must not intersect themselves. However it is of no importance if different polygons intersect each other. Examples of hard ground regions: Water, asphalted areas, gravel areas, rock surface, etc.
