OnSite Workflow

Mainly the following workflow will be used :

1. Set up the connection with the GPS receiver : For Leica and Trimble, the Leica and Trimble specific NMEA strings can be used to use the local corrections. But, there must be fixed positions before you can use Novapoint OnSite for surveying purposes. However, when you receive poistions, you can start using Novapoint OnSite, but in that case it is used for navigation purposes.
2. When fixed positions are retrieved from receiver, you can start the OnSite application and you can set the 'FOLLOW ME' toggle, to turn your drawing into a dynamic map that follows the current position
3. Now that fixed positions are available, you can also use the coordinates from the GPS receiver to create new objects: both punctual and linear geometry can be created directly in the field
4. If required, existing background data and coordinates can be used as well, to make sure that data connects smoothly with existing geometry.
