Alignment Design

Horizontal and vertical alignment design:

Before going to alignment design user need to import terrain data to database, generate triangle model, contour model etc. Refer Novapoint Base.
It's advisable to generate depth contours for design channel depth (requirement from the design ship draft). Save contours to AutoCAD drawing to be used as reference drawing.
Design and calculation of horizontal and vertical alignments: Refer the help file for the module 'Novapoint Alignment Design'.
The alignments are to be stored to the project database (Road Model/Digital Terrain Model). For further details on saving the alignment to the database, refer the topic 'Name' in the help file for the module 'Novapoint Alignment Design'.
